2008/2009 Window Display Policy

Window Display Rules:

  1. Member may request a window for one month. (Four months maximum per year)
  2. Back to back months are allowed only if two members have agreed to share a window. 
  3. Member must bring all supplies and staff needed to set up a window display. GWCVB mannequins are available upon request on a first come first served basis.
  4. No taping to the windows is allowed. No Balloons.
  5. No materials are to be placed on the ledge.
  6. Display must be set up within five business days of the first working day of the month or else we can release window to another member.
    Set Up: Between the hours of 9 AM – 4 PM
  7. Signage and display must be approved by Director of Membership & Events.
  8. All displays must be dismantled and taken away at the end of the month or
    GWCVB reserves the right to dismantle your display so that another member can use the window. If display supplies are not picked up within 30 days the GWCVB reserves the right to discard all items. 
  9. You are responsible for cleaning up the area after display set-up and dismantling.
  10. GWCVB cannot be responsible for items lost due to any cause.  Valuable items are displayed at your own risk and should be insured by you.
  11. The Request/Confirmation and Release /Hold Harmless Forms must be completed to confirm window display arrangements. These forms are available at the top right of this page.

Unloading Procedure:

Go immediately to the Front Desk of the Community Service Building Lobby and get a curb parking sign to display on the dash of you vehicle while unloading your display supplies into the GWCVB Visitor’s Center to avoid a ticket. You will be asked to leave your driver’s license with security until unloading is completed.

Once you have unloaded your display supplies, drive your vehicle to the Community Service Parking Garage at the corner of 11th & Orange Streets.

*Bring your parking ticket to the Visitors Center to be validated to avoid paying a fee.
